Brody's Tiger Land
Brody is 28 years old and was diagnosed with Osteo sarcoma (bone cancer) in 2015 which has now spread to his lungs. Brody’s only wish was to see his beloved Richmond Tigers play some footy.
Brody has undergone both radiotherapy and chemotherapy but now there are no further treatment options available fo...r Brody. He has limited mobility and is troubled by significant pain. He has a very limited prognosis of a matter of weeks. One thing that makes Brody smile is the football - he just loves Richmond.
He was able to attend a game with some of his closest friends - and his beautiful mum Peta was able to come along for the ride as well - it was Mother’s Day after all and she had never been in a hummer!
Leading up to the day Peta said “this will bring a smile to his face and will allow him to give back a bit of fun to his mates that have been there for him. Quality of life is different for everyone but when you are in Brody’s position, laughter, being with family and friends and a distraction from pain is the best medicine. What a wonderful kind generous gift you have given Brodie and his family, as we know it is a great day when we see him laugh.
We are so grateful to Exclusive Limousines Melbourne who provided a whopping 50% discount for Brody’s experience.
To add to Brody’s wish Brody had some very special video messages recorded for him from Richmond FC greats Trent Cotchin, Brett Deledio and Matthew Richardson. Huge thanks to Nathan Brown for organising this for Brody. We know the messages meant a lot to Brody and his family.
